Why the Private Sector Alone Cannot be Counted On

This week's post speaks to that part of the President's STOU address this past Tuesday that dealt with jobs in America. My premise is that the President is absolutely correct in taking the position that government must be an active partner in resolving our jobs crisis in America and that the private sector left to its own devices will never bring unemployment down.

Nov 10, Having Fun Browsing One of my Fave Sites for Maui Vacation Activities!

My next Maui vacation is fast approaching, and I'm still trying to decide on a couple more activities. So, of course, I turned to one of my fave activity booking sites: Barefoot Tours! I've booked the Feast at Lele, Ulalena, and The Grand Wailea Luau. I still want to book a kayak tour - it sounds AMAZING to kayak on the open ocean, and with a guide, I figure I won't have to worry about some stray ocean current whisking me away to the middle of nowhere! Also, I want to book a whale watching tour! How about you? What kinds of activities have YOU booked for YOUR Maui vacation? I'd love to hear all about your experiences! I know everyone is busy, so to make it worth your while to share your story, you'll have a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to Amazon.com by entering your story here in our Maui Vacation Stories contest!
