Want to take part in some of the fun events planned next week at the
Pacific Whale Foundation's Maui Whale Festival? Tuesday, March 1, 2011, you can check out the whales at sea at the morning

The station is located along the oceanfront walkway in front of South Maui's Wailea Beach Marriott. It operates from 8 a.m. until noon. If you can't make it on Tuesday, you'll have another chance to check out the viewing station on Thursday, March 3, 2011 - same time, same place! If you're in West Maui and would like to whale watch from land, you can check out the Papawai Point Viewing Station. It is open from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m, 7 days a week. It even has a naturalist standing by to answer questions. If you're making a special trip to any of the whale viewing stations, you can get current info. on hours of operation etc. from the
Whale Festival website (Link will open in new window.) or by calling the Pacific Whale Foundation at (808) 249-8811. Have fun!
